Grayson and I played checkers a number of times a few months back. It never really did anything for him, we went back to chess.
He's really good at 5 minute chess, and has managed to beat both me and my dad (and Kevin, and a few other folks) at speed chess.
If you are not prepared, you can easily lose on time or make a big mistake and lose a rook or queen, and he's great at mopping up those situations.
