Not much boardgaming to report on these days. Everyone's been bus, myself included. I have had time for a few online sessions of Settlers, and NetAcquire. My rating for Settlers is around 1650 in 15 games, and I have probably won my share in Acquire.
I did purchase a new game, China a few weeks ago. By the same company and developer as made Hansa, so you know I'm going to like it. (China is apparently an update to Michael Schacht's Web of Power which I have never played, but is ranked 79th overall in the world according to the Geek).

I am proud of myself... I have won 8 of 18 3-player on-line Settlers games so far, and have a rating of over 1700.
If all things were equal, a player should win 33% of the time. So 8/18 is 44% which is not bad...
As of 7/28, I am 15 of 32, with an average score of 7.00 (they round to whole numbers, I think I'm probably averaging closer to 8 points). My rating is 1786. Approaching 50% win rate... 2 more wins in a row.
Wish I could say I am anywhere near this in f-t-f (face-to-face) Settlers!
